Miami International Airport (MIA) staff will conduct a tour of the airport
at 11:00 a.m. You will be updated on MIA’s ambitious $500 million Cargo
Development Program that was launched in 1992 which included a fourth runway,
17 new cargo buildings and an increase in cargo warehousing from 1.3 million
to 3 million square feet.
You will see the Western “U” which is a multi-tenant facility
with over 1 million sq. ft. and capable of handling 10-14 cargo freighters
at one time, as well as the newest buildings for Arrow Cargo, LAN,
FedEx and UPS. You will have the opportunity to drive through the tunnel
located under an active runway which links the passenger terminal with “Cargo
City”.
Also you will visit MIA’s
unique one-stop Cargo Clearance Center, housing more than 300 inspectors
from the federal agencies who provide
24-hour cargo clearance operations. Registration must be received 48
hours prior to the tour. Space is very limited.

Atlas Air, Inc. Wins Air Force One Training Contract
Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (AAWW) (Nasdaq: AAWW), a leading provider

Air, Inc. (Atlas), has been awarded a five-year contract from the U.S.
Air Force to provide flight training for the Air Force pilots and flight
engineers who fly the President’s aircraft, Air Force One.

REGISTRATION IS SIMPLE
A mission delegate should make his/her airline reservation at the local
American Airlines Ticket Office by phone or in person. The delegate
must give the reservation agent the Star Reference name: “AIRCARGO
AMERICAS” to be eligible to receive a discounted ticket.
After speaking with the local American Airlines ticket office, the
delegate must complete the American Airlines Ticket Request Form and
the Air Cargo Americas registration form and fax both to the World
Trade Center Miami at (305) 871-7904. The delegate must complete all
the information on both forms and include the record locator (6 letters)
which he or she will receive from American Airlines. Forms without
the RECORD LOCATOR will not be processed.
Delegates must travel between November 3 to November 11, 2007. The
ticketing deadline is October 25, 2007. American Airlines will not
issue tickets after October 25, 2007. If you have any questions, please
