By the end of 2016, it is estimated that, the total value of Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) goods exports will have contracted 6%. The value of exports in this fourth consecutive year of contraction is expected to amount to approximately US$ 850 billion, slightly above the 2010 level, and 22% below the maximum value of US$ 1,095 billion registered in 2012.
